Position Overview
We’re looking for a motivated Agricultural & Industrial Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll install, service, and repair agricultural and industrial equipment both on farms and in production facilities. We’re seeking someone with a positive, “can-do” attitude who enjoys problem-solving, learning new skills, and working in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission new equipment with precision and attention to detail.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Prepare accurate daily service and repair reports.
- Assist with daily scheduling and coordination of service activities.
- Rig grain silos and assist crane operators on-site.
- Train client staff on proper equipment operation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in agriculture or industrial environments is required (poultry ideally).
- Background in construction, electrical, welding, or fabrication preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence (required).
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (8–10 hours per day).
- Occasional overtime, evenings, and weekend shifts as needed.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $24–$35 per hour (based on experience).
- Medical and dental benefits after 6 months.
- 2 weeks paid vacation per year.
